The study also found that workers are worried about politics, the economy, and the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on job security. Moreover, the Pew Research Center found that job satisfaction among American workers is low, particularly when it comes to opportunities for training, pay, and promotions. The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report predicts that 44% of workers’ skills will be disrupted in the next five years, raising concerns about automation of jobs. It is suggested that workers should seek employment opportunities that support continuous professional development, including upskilling in AI.
Workers who worry about their job and automation may want to move to a company where continuing professional development is supported.
